The most populous city of France, Paris is spread over 105 square kilometres. With a population of 22,06,488, Paris is the most populous city of France. Paris is also considered the cultural capital of Europe. It is Europe’s major centre for arts, fashion, science and finance. An influential part to both France and Europe in history, and even now.

Coming to the aspects Paris is the most famous for, the city is cultural capital of the world. Louvre is the most visited art museum in the world. Every year, Paris has more than 20 million visitors coming to the city, when you study in Paris, it will always be booming with the international tourists. In 2017, Paris was the third most visited travelling destination in the word after Bangkok and London. French cuisine is known all around the worlds since long, and Paris is no exception when it comes to the food. The haute cuisine is especially known for the way it is prepared and the presentation.

Education wise, the most prestigious University is University of Paris, which was disintegrated in 1970. Sometimes it is called Sorbonne, after one of its previous colleges. Most of the universities’ campuses are in the Latin Quarters where the University was originally located, while others campuses are in other parts of Paris and suburbs of Paris.

Paris is located in Northern Central part of France, and 450 kilometers away from London. Students will find a lot to do in Paris, given the large span of the city. Paris is located around the north-bending arc of Seine River and has two islands. The city is spread on both the sides of river.

The major manufacturing industries are aeronautics, automobile and eco industries.
